As they journeyed through the Underground Railroad, Harriet Tubman told her passengers that, if they really wanted a taste of Freedom, they must "KEEP GOING!" You and I were not physically there with them, however, the same is true today. If we too really want to experience the other side of midnight, we  must "KEEP GOING!" Revolutionary Women & Reggae has been through some of the fiercest weathers in Boston, yet, YOU, our Sponsors and Contributors, have endured them all with us. I especially want to note the bitterest cold/rain/wind storm that rocked the city in the year 2012 at the 6th annual. Facing a very viscious below zero climate, coupled with some of the heaftiest downpours of rain that I had ever experienced in Boston and a relentless Nor Easter wind storm that blew at approximately 50 mph, I had to say to myself, "Well, Harriet... you have told us that no matter what's going on, we must 'KEEP GOING', so... I won't let this brutal weather stop me from stepping out tonight, however... I am definitely NOT expecting our SUPPORTERS to come out tonight either!" BUT... on THAT night, the show was so very well attended that those in the house chanted, "READY FOR THE REVOLUTION!" Today, it gives me great joy to say, what was fixin' to be the RWR's WORST night, turned out to be one of its BEST nights ever!

Without a doubt, it has been the COMMITTMENT, DEDICATION and SACRAFICES of our avid SPONSORS, SUPPORTERS and SHOWGOERS, that have kept Revolutionary Women & Reggae going. I therefore want to take this moment and medium to personally extend a heartfelt "THANK YOU," to each and every one of you who have kept going!
